THE SACRED MUSIC CHORALE was founded in 1999 by a small group of singers from University Presbyterian Church, Seattle, to “sing the great music of the Christian church”. The Chorale members hail from Christian churches of many denominations from all around the Puget Sound region.
Led by Brad Klostreich, artistic director and Thelma Strand, piano accompanist, the Chorale has presented weekend concerts twice yearly, before Christmas and in the lateSpring. The Chorale is artist-in-residence at Trinity Parish Church, Episcopal in downtown Seattle.
The Sacred Music Chorale welcomes applicants for membership at the start of each semester.
Auditions are held in late August / early September and in early January.

Rehearsals are held 2-3 Sundays per month, from 3:30-5:30 pm at Trinity Parish Episcopal Church, 509 8th Avenue at Cherry St., Seattle 98104.
Weekend concerts are given in May, June and December 2008.
